Hi-8 is a type of tape recording I’ve been using the last couple years and have had a lot of fun with. When I was younger and first thought about weddings I would think about my parents wedding video and how it felt so real and homemade. I feel when I shoot hi-8 it gives that same 90s homemade feeling that’s hard to replicate on digital. At Kayla and Alex’s engagement session I had an assistant with me helping me change film for photo and shooting hi-8 footage behind the scenes and above are some of the videos.
