Hi, I’m Nick.
I'm your friendly neighborhood wedding and elopement photographer and videographer. I’m also the founder of Coastlight & Co. For me, weddings are about connection. There are only a handful of times in life we have the opportunity to have all our loved ones together in the same room. I’ve been capturing weddings and elopements for over 10 years, always with care and intention.
Ever since I was little, I have loved taking photos & videos. I started capturing weddings in my first year of college in 2015 in the San Francisco Bay Area and I moved to Southern California about 4 years ago. While based in Santa Monica, I have put together a small but talented team of wedding and event videographers and photographers ready to capture events both near and far!

I always want to create a comfortable atmosphere where you can be yourselves. Natural emotions and candid interactions are what I try to bring out and those moments always end up being my favorites in galleries.
Being in front of the camera can be fun but it’s also hard, especially without feedback so I want to help you through the process. I guide when i’m needed and outside of portraits and family photos I try not to give much direction as I want to capture the day as authentically as possible. When I say I have a photojournalistic approach this is what I mean.
For elopements, I'll also make sure your wedding photos reflect your relationship and capture the surroundings and feeling of your day. I want you to have fun so any way I can help make that happen I’m so down for it.
In wedding environments I prioritize your experience with a fly on the wall photojournalistic approach and guide you and family members during portraits in a more editorial style, especially for couples portraits where I’m so happy to give guidance. My goal is always to ensure every moment of your wedding day is captured with both elegance and authenticity.
